Poached Egg Sandwich

1 egg
- water
- 2 slices of whole wheat bread

Steps of Construction

Boil the water
fill the pot with 1 inch (2 and 1/2 cm.) of water. use high heat to
boil. Season the water with a pinch of salt.

Cook the egg(s)
Dial down the heat to medium-high. Crack an egg in a strainer over a
small bowl. Use the strainer to pour the egg into the water and cook for
4 minutes.

Make the toast
During the egg cook time, toast the bread.

Assemble the sandwich
Use a slotted spoon to remove the egg from the pot. Season the egg with
pepper. Then make the sandwich and put on your favourite toppings!

Important: if the yolk breaks on step 2, it can't be used!
